Hi I am on dla and have had a letter to say I have to apply for pip as dla is ending, I have a simple question when I call them to apply for pip what questions am I going to be asked? Will I be asked all the questions in the pip form or is it basic questions like name, doctor, Etc? will it be a long call? I have looked at pip guide but can't find the answer to it, any help appreciated, thanks

Hi mm,
The PIP1 form is not nearly as comprehensive as the PIP2 that will, at some stage, be sent out for you to complete. The information you need is on p11 of the PI guide, which also includes a link to a sample PIP1 form.

Hi I received pip form, is it ok to staple my evidence to the form? I'm worried it might get lost if I just put it in envelope, I've stapled all the evidence together and wondering should I then staple it to form? When letter gets opened at sorting office do they scan it or just send it on?

Yes, staple it to the back of the form but only use one or two staples as it will need to be detached at the mail delivery centre so that it can be scanned.

Thanks Gordon, can I ask one question about pip form, q6 washing and bathing, I have severe o.c.d so it takes me a long time to wash, I have written about it in the extra information, but I'm confused and about q6b where it asks u if u need help from another person to wash and bathe? I can wash myself without anybody's help but take a long time to do it so do I tick no? Or is it yes? Guides don't tell me?
