can the dwp force me to stop me from using my post office account for my benefits. if we All stop using the post office to collect our benefits. will that mean that slowly post offices will be closed down. does it mean older people have to travel miles to get to a bank after there village post office closed down. does it mean some unwell people get stressed because they have to find a way to travel miles to a major town to a bank since there post office closed down because of lack of income from benefit payment and such like.

The DWP are trying to move all claimants using Post Office Accounts to Bank Accounts, this is because of the cost involved in transferring money to these accounts. I don't expect the facility to be removed from existing benefits, but ne benefits such as Universal Credit no longer support Post Office Accounts.
A Post Office Account is a particular form of account, your local Post office can also provide Bank Accounts.
