PIP Review was created by Moose
Hello I was awarded the enhanced rate for daily living component of PIP from 01/07/2015 to 07/03/2018 and the standard rate of the mobility component for the same dates. On 17/03/2017 this last week I recieved a form PIP1043 Award Review stating I have to have it returned by 07/04/2017 or my payment will stop. My question is :- Has anyone else had such a form recently and if my award was until 07/03/2018 why are they wanting me to fill in this form now and not nearer the end of my award dates, and do I have to comply or challenge this. Any information as to what I should do at this time would be very valued. Many thanks Bob

Hi and Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is

It is currently DWP policy to start PIP reassessments a full year before the award is due to end. I am afraid you have no option other to comply (legislation actually allows for the award to be reassessed at any stage, for any - or no - reason).
You should fill out the form in detail and supply any evidence you wish the assessor to see. Don't rely on them looking at anything you have already submitted.

Thank you very much, I will study the B&W pages carefully before I fill in my forms. As we all know how careful we must tread.
