I believe that the payment will be pro-rata'd but you need to speak to Motability.

Just got our MR back and no change in the decision, We appealed the planning a journey and going out descriptor as we got nil points even though, my wife has scleritis which is a visual impairment. The decision maker never even rang us, which I thought under an MR they were required to do? Is that case Gordon ?
They made the MR in 3 weeks. Its off to the tribunal now, and we have lost our car leaves my wife fully house bound now thanks to the English tories and their ideas on disability.

Franny
There's no requirement for the Decision Maker to contact the claimant, when PIP was introduced they used to do it most of the time, now it is only if the claimant requests a call back and not always then.
The PIP Appeal guide has links to the SSCS1 form that you will need to complete and the Submissions guide has a complete example that you can use to help you fill it in, you do not need to provide detailed reasons at this stage for your request.
Once your appeal is accepted the DWP will prepare their submission to the hearing and send you a copy, whilst you should wait until you receive this to finish and submit your own, you should start to prepare your own case, an increased award will only be made by your showing that you score the extra points for one, so I would start by going back through your PIP2, the assessment report and the PIP Claim guide to see how you might show this is the case.
