Possible moving from support group to wrag was created by ratty1960
I have been in the support group for three years with deppression and have now developed physical symptoms such as joint and muscle aching and urinary incontinence. My pysiachrist has asked my gp to look into the positivity of fibromyalga. My symptoms have not improved since entering the support group and physically has deteriorated. Last time I was put in the support group with no face to face assessment.my support group award finishes in June and I have just sent off another esa 50 form for review that had to be in by 31st March.knowing how the rules are changing I would like to ask your opinion on whether I might face a medical this time even though they have letters as before from my consultant psychiatrist and gp. And my main concern is they might place me in the wrag group instead of the support group.I have filled the esa 50 in using your guides.and have consultant back up. If I do have to go in the wrag group will i lose all my extra money down to the new lowest rate or because I am a existing claiment would the money go down to the existing wrag higher rate, which of course had been approx 30 pound more than the jsa rate,Your opinion on this ,matter would be greatly appreciated

The changes only apply to new claims for ESA made after 3 April so you are not affected.
Maximus do seem to be calling claimants who were not assessed the last time for face to face assessments but it is still possible that they will decide that they have sufficient information to write a report without seeing you.
