I had dla to pip assessment and from higher care and mobility indefinite timescale went down to just standard daily living and no mobility whatsoever for 5 years, mandatory assessment same outcome. moved home since decision on 21 may and have until 21 june to appeal. have rheumatoid arthritis. treatment is by homeopathy and no gp as moved this sunday. I know I have to send copy of dwp decision and fill in SSCS1 form. do I have to be represented. homeopath wants to come to appeal. how do I sort this in such a short time scale ie 1 week. at moment rather overwhelmed oh and broadband not working until this morning

The PIP Appeal guide has links to the SSCS1 form that you will need to complete and the Submissions guide has a complete example that you can use to help you fill it in, you do not need to provide detailed reasons at this stage for your request.
If you can get representation then I would recommend it, but it is not essential for an appeal, Do and internet search for "welfare advice" with your new postcode, town or county, you can also try contacting any charities that specialise in your conditions.
Once your appeal is accepted the DWP will prepare their submission to the hearing and send you a copy, whilst you should wait until you receive this to finish and submit your own, you should start to prepare your own case, an increased award will only be made by your showing that you score the extra points for one, so I would start by going back through your PIP2, the assessment report and the PIP Claim guide to see how you might show this is the case.
If you have further questions then please reply to this post and we will do our best to help.
