ESA reassesment.. in support group!! was created by layla
i know that ESA is reassessed , but i just completed my pip with success.. and then the following week receive an ESA reassessment D is on the support group as registered blind and cannot see to read and fits some off the criteria etc
what are the chances of being asked for another nightmare medical?
is there a way of showing the assessor prior to a medical that you are on the support group fitting a and b criteria which cannot and has not changed
will they even look at the form..any idea?

It's impossible to say, the decision on a face to face is primarily determined by the information in and with the ESA50.

Only if you also show why it is relevant to your PIP claim, even where there are areas of overlap between the two benefits the criteria can still be different.

So be aware that the PIP Descriptors refer to the claimant reading simple and complex written information whereas ESA refers to them being able to read a simple message in print of a certain size.
So make sure that the PIP report is explicit in stating that the problems are due issue with the claimants sight and not there cognitive ability.
