White envelope from Capita was created by TheCrock
Hi
sent the dreaded pip form off , just had a letter from capita saying I could face a face to face, so jittery at this time, says its going to an assessor? Does this mean I will have a face to face? I am dreading this. Can someone advise please, or is this normal once you have sent in your form to have paperwork from capita?
Feeling so ill & nauseous
Kind regards everyone

It's a standard letter but I think you should assume that you will have to have a face to face, the initial review of your form has not resulted in a Paper Based Review or the letter would not have been sent, it is possible when your file is actually selected for assessment that the assessor will decide that a PBR is appropriate, but it's unlikely.
There are currently considerable delays in the PIP assessment process, we are currently advising 12-16 weeks as a minimum.

Normally you would Contact the DWP and Capita when you move, however, I would do it now! There are two issues, you don't want to receive an appointment for your current location if you are no longer there but also, Capita do not provide assessments for the south of England so your claim may need to be transferred to ATOS.
