.Hi Gordon
I note that Capita state in their Information Pack regarding the initial face-to-face medical assessment with one of their medical professionals that “the consultation is a two-way process and you [the claimant] will be told what has been noted down”.
Can the claimant therefore presume that they will be verbally-advised by the Capita health professional - undertaking their medical assessment - of ALL the details that he/she has written down regarding EACH activity that the claimant is attempting to claim PIP under?
If this is not the situation how much information is the claimant likely to receive and what legal rights does the claimant have in this context if they encounter a medical professional who stubbornly refuses to offer minimal feedback or no feedback at all?
I await with much interest your valued response to these particular questions.

You can certainly ask and the DWP guidance does say that assessors should allow access to the information, but this does not confer any specific right to see the information, so you can ask but I do not think that you can insist and you should be careful being too pushy as the assessor can curtail the assessment if they believe the claimant is not participating.
It's important to be aware that the information recorded during the interview only constitutes part of the assessment report, the assessor will actually write the report at some time after the claimant has left.
You can request the report from the DWP office dealing with your claim, I advise waiting a couple of days to make sire that they have received it.
