Hi, I recently sent off my PIP review forms.. The week after the deadline to submit, I received a doctor's letter from a hospital consultant that would be extremely useful additional supporting information, as unfortunately other letters from my hospital consultants were completely inaccurate. Way too positive - obviously they wanted to discharge me, and they couldn't without a "she's all better" letter. LOL, wish I was! I would love not to need PIP. Is there any way I can submit this latest letter now from my last consultation, or am I stuck with the DWP making an decision based on what I sent?
Send it to the same address as your claim form, I would also recommend sending a copy to the DWP office dealing with your claim, include a covering letter explaining what the doctor's letter is.
I would also take a copy to any face to face assessment you have and ask the assessor to read it before they start the interview and to include it in your file when it is returned to the DWP.
