Great news !! Got my letter today as result of PiP's face to Face Assessment. Got High Mobility and Standard Care component, was 1 point off Higher, so may appeal. Also got news last week stating that I had retained my Support Group ESA. Can honestly say I would not have received the upgrade if not for the information regarding recent High Court appeals against the DWP. THANK YOU for such a great site.

That's really terrific news, well done for both awards.

I also got the same result from my PIP assessment. Strange how I'm hearing the same award being made multiple times ( higher rate mobility and standard rate care ), just 1 point short on the care side from achieving higher rate care.
I also considered appealing for the higher rate care with just 1 point off but the thought of having to go through it all again and the possibility of getting a worse outcome put me off.
I have to say too that the points that were awarded for care bore no resemblance to the information put forward!
I was given 1 point for the 'needing help with dressing and undressing' and this was not mentioned by myself as a problem in my claim.
And no award for the most pressing problems that I have and gave lots of evidence for.
It's a farce that's for sure.
The assessor was furiously typing during my assessment and it looked as though she'd got all the relevant info in there. Looks like the DWP assessor chose to ignore all of that and make a completely different decision.
It makes me think that they're doing the '1 point off enhanced' on purpose because although I have mobility issues my mental health is far more debilitating....
