PIP2 washing and bathing was created by earwigs
Hi, I'm embarking on my PIP2 form. I'm a bit stumped with the washing and bathing section where they ask how long it takes you to wash and bathe. Do you think this means literally how long you are in the shower or bath, or does it cover getting dressed and undressed, brushing your teeth, drying your hair, etc? Does the DWP have a figure for how long it takes a non-disabled person?
Many thanks!
Many thanks!

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
Dressing and undressing is considered in a different activity and I doubt that brushing your teeth is considered as part of the activity but the time that you spend getting into the bath or shower, the time you spend in it, the time it takes you to get out and the time it takes to dry yourself should be considered.
There are no standard times for the activity but think about the time it took you when you were healthy or perhaps ask friends and family, you need to show that it would take you more than twice the time that a healthy person in similar circumstances would take for the time to be considered.
