Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Anne
I can't tell you what to put in your form. If you think that having to work in the sex industry is relevant information stemming from your health conditions such as your PTSD then put it either in the area under disabilities, illnesses or health conditions or put it at the end under other information.

Hi Anne
Dyspraxia is a developmental disorder so you might want to include it on both mental and physical.

Hi Anne
Thistleass was talking about a general advocacy group, not a specific one. You need to google and just see if there are any in your area that helps with benefits.

Ok thank you. I'm just so scared of what to say, as in assessments before they didn't use Doctors, and just unqualified people who will follow orders to not give people enough points.
I kept thinking they would say if I can work in the sex industry, then I can hold down a normal job, when I just did it because I was desperate for money and not able to hold down a normal job.
Part of autism is being bad with communication and explaining things, but if I don't explain things properly I could have benefits taken away.
I used to have a support worker to help me, but the council took away their funding, and if I go on my own will they hold that against me?

Hi Anne
I can't take away the fear you feel. You can only do your best and prepare for it. It would be wrong for anyone to discriminate because a person attended an assessment alone. The first thing you do when it starts is explain that you had to attend alone because you no longer have support.
