Universal credit and moving home

There is no housing benefit element to my UC claim, just the standard allowance and LCWRA payments. I am forced to move due to divorce and to meet the completion date I have to put my contents in storage and move in temporarily with a relative. I understand that the house sale capital equity value is discounted for 6 months while I look for a new home - BUT would there be the implications of moving in with a relative for my UC income? or indeed their pension credit income /council tax situation?. Both of us separately qualify for full council tax reduction support. Thanks for all advice.

Gordon the benefits the relative receives are exclusively pension credit and council tax support as they are over State retirement age. I guess I just want to know if their income will reduce my entitlement to UC while we live together. And if our living together would take away the nil liability to council tax that we both currently have separately.

Thanks for recommending the calculators but they dont fit our situation. I receive only the standard UC allowance and LCWRA - no other elements of UC apply. I just need to know in principle if moving in temporarily with the relative would mean DWP would take their income into account and reduce my benefit. Can you detail the circumstances of mine that you would need more information on to advise as to whether the income of the relative I may move in with will be material to the DWP calculation of my UC? Thanks.
