Hello
Need to ask this because I do not understand well. When we filling PIP form there's 20 meters for higher rate and in ESA form 50 meters for Support group. Now I have already PIP higher rate due to 20 meters.
What should I write in ESA form 20-50 or do I only mansion 50 meters. If I write 50 meters and qualify support group again, so what about PIP I had been written 20 meters already?
Near in future when they have only one assessment for both as DWP informed, what is the best answer for this. Thanks for help

Hi Anees

All I can say to you is put down the truth on how far you can walk, do not exaggerate the distance or under estimate the distance. There was a lady on the forum who said she could walk 200 meters in 1 minute when talking to an assessor when in fact it took her over 5 minutes to walk only a few meters.
My understanding is that only one assessment for both ESA and PIP has been put on hold.

Be aware, ESA is not a walking test, it is a Mobility test! In addition to your walking, it considers your ability to self-propel a manual wheelchair over the same distances, you do not need to be using a wheelchair or even to own one for it to be considered. SO even if you can show your walking is restricted unless you can also show that you cannot self-propel the wheelchair you will still not score points.
