I have just had my UC Telephone assessment, it only last around 20 mins, and i wasn't asked anything what so ever about my physical problems, Not a single question regarding mobilizing what so ever despite putting on the form that i am unable to mobilize any distance without pain. Every question seemed to be about my mental health.
I also stated that i do no leave the house or do housework, so its not like she choose to use me walking to the shops or something for the mobility aspect and thus not needing to ask me any direct questions.
Has anybody heard of this before? The only other thing i can think is maybe they are taking into account my recent PIP assessment with regards to the mobilizing part? The only issue with that is there is no information in the pip report relating to my inability to propell a wheel chair due to the pain in my wrist.
Just a little shocked and confused why my UC assement was so short and i wasn't asked a single question about mobilising. SHe simply ended the call with i think i have all the information i need now.
Sometimes an assessment is short because the assessor believes they already have enough information and so they don't ask. Obviously, I can't confirm that is what has happened but I have heard of other people having shorter assessments for that reason. You can get a copy of the report after you have had the decision letter if you want to see the details.
