Hello diceman,
I am going to refer you back to the excellent answer which BIS gave you a little while ago in response to a very similar question.
www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/forum/10-dla-e...-claiming-pip#253959
We do not give individual advice on the forums, but if you read our guide I am sure you will be able to decide if it is worth you applying. Remember, if you think you might qualify, there is really very little to lose in applying.

Hi diceman24
You can also try the pip test to see whether or not you are likely to qualify.

Hi diceman24
PIP is awarded based on how your condition affects you, not which condition you have. So having a muscle-wasting condition doesn't guarantee that you'll be eligible. PIP is considered on a points-based system and rated how your condition affects you. The more support you need, the higher your points score will be.
The DWP will only assess the impact of your condition, not the condition itself. So it’s important to include information about how your condition affects you and explain what your condition is. Remember, the person reading your form may not have any experience or knowledge of muscle-wasting or associated conditions, so include as much detail as you can and think about how you would describe your condition to someone hearing about it for the very first time.
Have a look at our PIP Claim guide for a better understanding of the criteria you will need to meet.
www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/pip
Make sure that you understand the criteria that you are being assessed against you can put the best case forward that is possible but you won't score points if you do not meet the PIP Descriptors.
If you have any further questions, then please return to the forum.
