PIP form recieved. Is there an electronic version? was created by paulcornwall
Ive just received my first ever PIP form, after being a carer of 7 years I am now broken myself and having to claim the very benefit I assisted with.
Looking at the boxes there is very little space to write my answers. is there an electronic version as I can no longer write due to my arthritis. Any suggestions.?

Hi Paul, and I am sorry to hear of your transition from carer to potential caree.
There is not yet an electronic form, so just use additional sheets. If you are struggling to write on the form, just tick the relevant boxes and put something on the free text boxes saying please see separate sheet(s). Then you can type what you want to put in a document making sure you use the right headings.
However familiar you are with the form, I would recommend that you use our guides to help you.

Hi Paul do just be sure to put your name and NI No on top of every single sheet whatever it is, ie both additional sheets and things like doctors letters. Ans as far as possible just a little in from the edge so it will not get cut off by hasty photocopying. 'Mail handling' I believe is contracted out, and we've certainly had some ropy copies in eg tribunal bundles in the past...
