pip mandatory reconsideration was created by mercy
hi everyone i just want to know if in your PIP form, you left some questions unanswered or crossed them out in the orginal pip form because i did not fully understand what was required of you. can you now asnwer does question you left out in the original pip frm, in the reconsideration appeal?
basicaly mis understood the question left them out .
how can i now answer does question and how do i best explain i did not understand what the question was saying, hence i left them blank or crossed.
help help somebody

Hello Toks,
Yes, you can submit extra information. Just write them a letter explaining that you did not understand the form / questions so did not fill it in correctly.
No need for any fancy words – just say you found the form confusing, you were filling it in without help and you crossed things out you should not have done, and missed bits out you should have filled in.
Then say what you would have liked to put on the form.
Oh, and remember to make sure your letter has your NI number on it, as well as your name.

Hello Toks, to add a tiny bit to Catherine's good advice. Always if you can, get and keep a photocopy of everything you send in such as this letter. If you can't get a photocopy maybe photograph it on your phone or get a friend to, and save the photo in case there's any argument later about what you sent.
