I received my PIP Review form which was dated 7 March 2021. The form has a return deadline of 7 April 2021. I called the DWP today to ask for an extension. One of the announcements before you get transferred to an adviser says that the deadlines for returning new claim and review forms has been extended to 3 months from the date on the form, however they ask you to return the form sooner if you can,
I didn't want to rely on that announcement in case it was an error so I waited to speak with an adviser. The adviser confirmed that all deadlines have been extended to 3 months from the date on the relevant form.
Unfortunately it does not mean that the End Date of a Fixed Term award is also extended by 3 months, so if anyone has an end date which is before the 3 months is up they should see that as the absolute deadline for getting the PIP2/AR1 into the DWP. (Unless of course the DWP have agreed to also extend that end date.)
