i think pip have scored me wrong and what to do was created by Paul
i was on enhanced for mobility due to my mental health i was awarded due to not being able to go out alone i have someone with me even to familiar places i have just had my review and they have knocked me down to standard on the bais of not being able to undertake any journey because it would cause me overwhelming psychological distress.
now i dont understand in my assesment i said muliple times that i dont go out alone thats not saying i dont go out at all i just wont go out alone i need someone with me to make sure im safe now im not sure what to do any help would be most apprciated thanks

Hello Paul,
How frustrating for you!
If you think they have given you the wrong points you can write requesting a ‘Mandatory Reconsideration’. This is basically asking the decision maker to look at it again, taking into account any points you make. Your post seems very clear and you could just write that to them in the letter. But you might also wish to look at our guides on Appealing and Mandatory Reconsiderations.

It is also worthwhile requesting a copy of the assessor’s report, the PA4, which might throw some light on what you need to challenge. You can get this by ringing the DWP.
You need to be aware that you should submit your request for a MR within a month of the date of your decision, but you can ask for this to be extended, particularly if you have a good reason for needing the extension.
