I moved back in October last year because my old place was getting knocked down which was a stressor in itself, not to mention finding somewhere new which was difficult because of the various conditions I have (Contamination OCD, Anxiety, Depression and some others)

Then once I got to my new place I wasn't very happy (due to my mental health issues and some other things) and since then I've had various depressive episodes that have included suicide ideation and some planning.

It seems ridiculous but the whole thing just just slipped my mind. If you're familiar with depression it really affects your ability to think as well as memory. I often get left and right mixed up, I get confused with numbers and payments, forget people's birthdays.

I'm on universal credit too at the moment and I often forget that they're sepereate processes. Universal credit were aware that I moved so I guess my mind assumed that the PIP department would be too.

It's not something that was done on purpose, especially as I informed them the first time I moved, just not this second time.

I did ring them up as I hadn't been paid (which was supposed to happen Monday) then they informed me about the AR1 form and how I hadn't sent it back to them.

I told them my new address and they said that they'd put back on the payments and send out another form. That was yesterday. I still haven't received the payment so I'm wondering if they've forgotten.

My plan is to call them tomorrow but I'm worried about everything. I'm under 25 (23) and don't live with family so rely on PIP which entitles me to the 1 bedroom rate so I can rent privately. (I did try to get housed by the council but they said they don't have properties and to private rent instead.)

Im worried about my Universal Credit, PIP, all of it.

I'm confused as well because my entitlement isn't due to end until January 2021, as it got pushed back from this year due to COVID. Even if my PIP were to get stopped, wouldn't I still be entitled to payments until then? Or did they stop it because I hadn't filled out the form, irrespective of if my entitlement would go up, down or stop?

Hi Paris

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is.

Welcome to Benefits and Work .

It can take a few days for payment to be authorised and put back in payment, I see no issue in you chasing up, the best time to try and contact is first thing in the morning at 9.00 am.

Did you keep a copy of you original application form? don't forget to check out our guides.

We have a very comprehensive PIP guide. If you look through that, it will give you some idea of how you might answer questions.
