Received Copy PIP Assesmnt Contact Decision Maker?

Hi,
I had my PIP telephone assessment on 12th July 2021. It lasted just over 2 hours. It was also recorded by them & I recorded it too.
I requested a copy of the assessment, which arrived yesterday. I was actually surprised at how much was written, lots of detail etc. The recommended points are 9 for daily living & 10 for mobility (this is what I currently get)
My question is can I write to the dwp/decision maker, as there are 2 issues which I'm not happy about? Who do I send this information to & to what address?

I need to address the award time the assessor has recommended & her justification for this. My last award was for 3 years, have been recommended 1 year 3 months. I have long standing conditions, severe agoraphobia etc over many years, which impacts on my life totally.
Her justification was because I've been referred for councelling in the past month (by my district nurse)... It's not with a mental health team or anything, but a service attached to the NHS.

Also, for the Engaging with People descriptor, she recommended that I can engage with prompting (2 points)
Justification is that I engaged with the district nurse, who came to my home to do blood tests. She is a health professional & the blood tests arranged by my gp. This is a necessity that I had to go through with, as it's connected to my medication review.
Are people not meant to have any type of home appointment with a health professional, if it's relevant to your health & wellbeing? Would that include seeing your gp at home too?

My last PIP assessment was carried out at home. I couldn't refuse having them coming, as it's a necessary step to get benefits. Are people meant to refuse this type of professional contact, otherwise you are 'engaging' with people, whatever the reason.
So, I want to challenge the justification for the Engaging with People descriptor... as I don't engage with people (everything is in my form for the DM to see)

Also, if I had been recommended the descriptor I believe I qualify for, it would have given me the points for Enhanced Daily Living.
Sorry to have rambled on. I just need advice please on who I actually write to & in what format I write, to address my concerns. (I realise the DM may ignore the assessor's recommendations, but it's probably not likely)
Thank you for any advice given :)

Hello Lucy Posy 68

You write to the DWP.

With regards what you say about engaging with people you should make the point that being able to engage with a medical professional who is experienced in working with people who suffer from anxiety is not indicative that you can engage in a real world scenario.

There are a couple of cases which you may find helpful in framing your argument.
PM v Secretary of State for Work and Pensions (PIP) – [2017] UKUT 0154 (AAC) CPIP/3622/2016
SF v Secretary of State for Work and Pensions (PIP) – [2016] UKUT 543 (AAC) CPIP/2685/2016

Hope that helps
Catherine
