Condition worsened- PIP was created by headabovethewater
I was awarded standard daily and only 4 pts mobility a year ago. As I'm sure is the case for many I thought it should be higher daily and at least lower mobility but I didn't have the fight in me at the time.
My condition has only worsened along with a new condition I need to tell them about and stronger night meds that mean more pain thru the day.
I also now have blue badge, doc supported, and physio report stating limitations and slow gait.
Is it a hard fight and all the same documents to write again or a smaller document to report a change?
Thank you for any advice I keep talking myself out of it but then pain keeps reminding me I don't live like my pain free friends, I'm living half a life.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi headabovethewater
You can ring up and tell the DWP that you wish to put in for a change of circumstances. I can't tell you whether it is a hard fight, because it depends on your circumstances. They may be happy to make a paper-based decision when you have sent in the new information, but normally a change of circumstances triggers a telephone or face to face assessment.
In order for them to take account of the new condition, you need to have had it for three months prior to the change of circumstances and that it will continue for 9 months after.

Thank you, yes the timings would apply and it is long term degenerative, mobility and daily living limitations more affected. Here's hoping it would be a paper review, one can hope!
