Mandatory Reconsideration was created by KazM
I'm following the advice on your MR pages and can see that you type up all the descriptor information when you get to the Appeal stage. Am I okay to do this for the MR? When I spoke to dwp today he suggested I highlight everything and give my explanation as to why I feel my points are incorrect. This looks similar to your appeal advice. I have typed this all up already as I knew they would go with the assessor's telephone assessment. I have followed your MR request letter too, to ensure my intentions are clear. I just want to confirm that I can do this full description as this stage. Thank you.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Karen,
It works either way! There us no set formula- if you want to go through everything now, there is every possibility that you may not need to go to a tribunal.
I wouldn't necessarily highlight everything. Perhaps just concentrate on the major points, bullet points can help, keepong ideas together however if you have already done the letter and your message is still clear then go ahead. (If you criticise absolutely everything it can detract from the proper points scores you should have.) Certainly don't get bogged down in being over critical with spelling errors etc, that can easily be done in a short sentence- eg 'the report has many spelling and grammatical errors, and this is a further indication of poor quality'. There is no harm in stating the correct points value, but do explain this. You may also wish to make a complaint about the assessment.
Let us know how you get on.
Good luck.

Thank you. Yes I have enclosed a copy of my complaint. That's how have I typed it out in bullet points. I have also agreed with the activities that I can do. I have kept to the actual statements that are incorrect regarding my illness. I have just bullet pointed the descriptors that were incorrect and explained why. I found the letter to send with this very helpful as I didn't realise they were phoning up trying to prevent the MR and another telephone conversation is really the last thing I need. I've also asked for a supporting letter from my consultant to evidence the support I require. I am finding the forum so helpful at this stressful time. Once again thank you so much.
