Hi synapse321

The short answer to your question is, yes.

CB ESA is not affected by UC as it is not a means tested benefit, on the other hand child tax credits will be affected as it is a means tested benefit.

Thank you.

My ESA is due for reassessment in September 2024, I am currently in the support group.

Do you foresee any changes in the WCA assessment in the way it is claimed eg risk to self or others automatic exemption and put in the support group.

Or will the ESA be phased out for me in September moving me over to UC?

Thank you

Hi synnapse321

We cannot answer your question as you have not stated which ESA you are claiming.

The information you are looking for will be in B&W newsletter, once details are known.

Hi synapse321

You will not be affected, provided you pass the assessment.
