I was in the support group for ESA and I didn’t have any assessment. My partner moved in with me in 2020 so I had to claim UC. I had an assessment in 2021 then I was put in LCWRA after nearly going to court. But now the DWP want to do another assessment on me again and I have to fill the form. When I was in the support group I didn’t have assessments. So why are the DWP making me have another assessment. Are they allowed to do that I thought support group and LCWRA group are the same and you don’t have frequent assessments.
ESA/LCWRA are indefinite awards with scheduled reassessment based on the Prognosis Date completed by the assessor in their report, so your existing LCWRA award continues in payment until a new Decision is made.
Most claimants will usually have a review every 2 - 3 years, we have heard from members who have not been reassessed in over 10 years,so to answer your question, I have no idea.
