PIP review was created by dawsden
Hi
Can you help me. Getting myself in a right state!
I have received a pip review form today, despite my award until November 2024?
I have several chronic health complaints. These are degenerative. Also now, sadly I am under the mental health with PTSD.
My question is:
Is it normal to receive this form so early?...And should I just put no change to all the questions, well apart from my mental health?
My fear is that just putting no change won't be enough for them.
I'm 64 and I was awarded high rate care & mobility
Thank you in advance

Hi dawsden,
Did you originally have PIP to November 2023, and it was the automatic extension to 2024 ? If so, the DWP send the papers usually about 6 months before your claim is due to end I believe, so this may answer your question if this is the case?
If not, and it is until November 2024, then I can't understand why it's more than a year early - you may need one of the more experienced mods to answer this. All I can think of is that they're that far behind, that they're trying to catch up in plenty of time by requesting you to fill the forms in early.
Either that, or possibly government related because of the changes that are coming into effect maybes?
It's certainly a strange one, and I honestly haven't known the forms to be sent more than a year in advance before.
Regards, Chris.

Also,
I also done what you've asked in the past with "no change" but unfortunately it wasn't enough. I was told you have to fill the form in exactly the same as a new claim, so answering everything again. But sometimes you never know whats right and what's wrong, because you hear so many people saying different things, and it can be very confusing at times.

Hi dawsden,
Not sure if you've seen this link, but it seems to answer a question very similar to yours. Please see libra1 response.
