I'm currently awaiting an appeal date for PIP tribunal.
I was scored nil points by PIP assessor and during MR. The main reason is because I said I can drive. You'd meant assessor applied this to every descriptor and said I could do them all.
The assessor has omitted that I also told them I hardly ever drive due to health issues and Iight manage to drive every 2-3 weeks for a short journey with someone with me.
I'm beginning to think as I don't reliably drive I should have just answered no.
Always best to be truthful, just in case you're ever seen. I only drive once per week for shopping and to my local area because I suffer with travel anxiety, amongst other things including chronic pain. The guides on here will help you answer questions to get you the best possible outcome. I too, had things on my form about driving regularly to friends and families homes, which simply wasn't the case, as I've been estranged from most of my family for years now. I think they put what suits them, hoping that you won't win - that's why places like this exist, to help us fight back, and get what we rightfully should've in the first place, in my own personal opinion.
Regards, Chris.
