Had a call from Health Professional about my PIP claim but I'm confused

I had a phone call with a professional from PIP, who mentioned that I had a lot going on and wouldn't be sent for an assessment; they wanted to clarify a few things and then said they had done a report. While I am still worried, they have been in contact with neurology, neuropsychology, my mental health team, and my GP. I thought they weren't allowed to have ongoing conversations with different professionals and could only contact those listed on the form.

So had I even though I am profoundly deaf!!! I think they can contact anyone for information .

I am worried too now because I do not know why they called me. I asked would I have to go to an assessment and the lady said "you might"
