Support group while working was created by M&E
Hi. My partner was put in the support group of ESA after her SSP finished. She is dealing with cancer at the moment. If she was not able to return to work would this trigger a chance in her ESSA status on would she start in the Support Group.

How long ago did she have the DWP medical that resulted in Support Group status and has her Benefit claim been continuous since?

About a month. She has just had her cancer operation and is a month into her recovery. Work is starting to question her about coming back. I am probably just getting worried on her behalf.

She will remain in the Support Group until she has had another DWP medical assessment.
