Hello, I had my transition letter from IR ESA to UC, to be in by May 15th.
I have a support advocate but they don't understand the process any more than me.
I got in a state about it the other (multi diagnoses), and spoke to a CAB person online , who took details, then gave me a date to call a number back on may 12th to do the form , to go in , I assume?
I saw on another , someone had issues with transition following doing a phone application.
2 things are bothering me. 1. Should I have done the application online, not phone. 2. At which point am I supposed to create a UC account? I'm too confused with it all, I'm dyslexic too, so trying to grasp all the forum messages, isn't easy
It sounds as if you are using the Citizens Advice Help to Claim Service. If so let them sort out your UC application on the 12th May. Don't create your UC account now, wait until the beginning of May. You have 28 days from creating your UC account to complete and submit the UC online form.
