UC, Lcwra and New style ESA was created by Kendod66
I am 45 single male no kids.
I get UC with some housing.
I am in the Lcwra group since last September
I get New style ESA payments.
I am considering trying to work again part time, take home could be around £1000 a month for 18 hours homeworking.
If I get the job, do I just tell my UC journal about the new employment and wage?
They then make the relevant deduction from my increased allowance being in Lcwra?
And would that then automatically stop the New style ESA in full?
I would remain in the Lcwra group until reassessment as long as the work doesn't contradict the reason I'm in that group?
Sorry for the long post I'm sure you're all very busy at the moment with everything going on, thanks for any and all advice and help.

Hi Kendod66
It is a shame that with 18 hours you are 2 hours over the limit for ESA Permitted Work. So if you are doing 16 hours per week on average then you can apply for Permitted Work ( also depends on wages ).
As for UC you are right you will have a Work Allowance and then deductions.
You can preview the situation by using a Benefits Calculator such as Entitledto.co.uk

Ahh yes I saw something around the 16hr limit, unfortunately I have no control of the hours being offered.
Ill try to use the calculator, just gets a bit confusing for me unfortunately.
Hopefully I might still qualify for some small amount of help via UC
