Full time remote work and PIP / Mainly Mental health

im in the process of applying for Personal Independence Payment (PIP), mainly due to health issues like depression and anxiety. I wanted to ask for some advice on a few things that are making the process a bit confusing for me.

I’ve got a mix of health conditions, but it's tough to explain how they come together to make day-to-day activities harder. Should I expand on this -- ithough about doing that on additonal info

Impact of working from home: I work full-time, and my job is fully remote. I'm wondering how this affects my claim. Would the fact that I work remotely make it harder to prove the difficulties I face in daily activities like getting dressed, washing, or mixing with others? any tips how should I address this when talking about my health and limitations on the form?

Any advice or personal experiences would be really helpful!

Hi big_vern,

We always advise new claimants to follow the pip guides on the website. When you're applying for PIP, it is based on how your conditions affect you on a daily basis, rather than what is actually wrong with you.
PIP also is not means tested, and there's no law stopping you applying for PIP, if you're working or not.

Honestly, I would check the guides when you have time, and they will explain to you how best to word things in relation to your claim and offering you the best possible chance of success.

Hope this information helps,

Chris.
