PIP Tribunal - a bit strange of an experience was created by orfoster
Dear Sirs,
I wonder if you can help me in relation to a Tribunal decision I have received today which has dismissed my claim.
I found the Tribunal experience a bit strange, they were unbelievably negative about my claim. I had told no one about my Appeal, but an hour before the Hearing my ex-wife called me to wish me luck saying 'my name appeared online as attending a hearing that day' she is a Teacher, on entering the Tribunal the Dr was wearing a National Education Union lanyard.
I put together a submission referencing to the medical evidence that supported my claim alongside photos of aids from home and yet I had no increase in points.
I'd really value some advice as I'd thought I had evidenced my position well in my submission and the evidence I submitted.
I can post up my submission but I just really want a sense check, I am possibly being completely paranoid and I also struggled a lot on the day because I told them I had a massive Migraine and kept getting muddled between the time of the PIP decision and now but I felt I was good at explaining my condition.

Hi orfoster
I'm sorry to hear that you lost your appeal.
Don't try to post anything that would identify you.
As far as us being able to offer any help, the issue is probably not what you submitted, but what their reasons are for dismissing your claim. It's almost impossible for us to comment in any useful way about what you submitted when we haven't seen why you had to go to the Tribunal in the first place.
Have you requested a 'Statement of Reasons' - so you can see what was said by the panel? Are you giving up - or are you hoping they made some sort of error where you could appeal to the Upper Tribunal?
