Hi, I was hoping someone might be able to help me work out some confusion I'm having about UC payment dates over Christmas.
My UC is paid on the 27th of the month, which this month falls on a Saturday. In this case, I'd usually expect to receive my payment on the day before, Friday 26th. But this year Friday 26th December is a bank holiday (Boxing Day) and the day before that is Christmas day itself (also a bank holiday) so does this mean that I would actually be receiving my UC payment for December on Wednesday 24th December (so 3 days earlier than usual?)
And would the same scenario also apply to my PIP payment, which is due on 25th December (e.g. so I'd actually be receiving it on 24th December instead?)
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I can't seem to wrap my head around all these payment date changes and how they all tie in with bank holidays and weekends!
