Pip claim issue was created by David
Hi guys
So I have been getting pip for a number of years so back in September it was my time to fill in my forms for my renewal which I did like I had done before
But this time I got my letter back with 0 points for the care and mobility sections
On the decision letter on each of the activities it says
There is no medical evidence to support a diagnosis of what I have

I’m going to ask them to look at my case again
But can anybody tell me should I be getting a letter from my doctor to send in with the form I send back
Any help would be appreciated
Thank

Hi David

If you have been receiving PIP for a number of years, I assume that at some point you sent in some evidence of your diagnosis or someone would have queried this before? So if you have previously sent them information, then you should point it out to them, because it must be on the system. If you can get an up-to-date letter from your GP, do so - but not all doctors are willing to write letters.

Hi Bis
As all except last time my pip
Came up for renewal I got a face to face interview so I have never had to supply medical proof at the face to face interviews they seen how I was how much pain I was in and how difficult it was to doing daily things
So if my doctors won’t supply me with a letter what can I do then ?? Or am
I stuffed

Hi Bis
Thank you for getting back to me
So as 99% of my interviews have been face to face they have not had any doctors notes
At the interviews they see how much pain I’m in and how my condition would be with the daily duties
I’m going to call my doctors tomorrow and see about a note from him
If he is not willing to write the letter do I have any other recourse like can I get my medical notes photo copied and send them
In that way to prove what I have

Hi David

No, you are not stuffed, if there has been no change in your condition, I would send in your old supporting letters and explain there has been no change in your condition.
