I have been on u since Oct 2025. Migrated from esa support group with income related in benefit. Cut the story short. I was overpaid u. I am getting new style esa also with uc. Uc had not taken my esa off my benefit from end of January and February on my statement. I went to job centre and informed them. I opened a savings account so I did spend the £600 overpayment. I informed uc regarding the new account. Got a repayment letter and paid it straight away. Next thing I known I have a message to phone them. It's tell me I have a compliance telephone interview. They have asked for 2 mouth bank statements January and February. When I spoke to the compliance guy who going to the phone interview. He didn't tell me much wait till the interview. But afer I spoke to him I had to phone uc. They wanted to inform of the same as before the bank statements. So worried regards this. Has anyone else been though this. Regards thank you

Hi Grove1960

If you are having a face to face Compliance interview the DWP officer may be happy with the transactions on your phone banking app rather than a printed bank statement.

Hi there. A update re the phone call. I have been accused by a unnamed person. That I got 25000 from my ex husband now. Sale of the house in 2014. The house sold for 88000. And his mortgage that he owed was 78000. So that meant he left with after fees 8000. But the 25000 supposed to given to a friend to look after which is not true. I have to give January and February bank statement I am on uc and new style esa from Oct 2025. Can anyone give advice regards thankd

Hi Grove1960

I'm sorry to hear what has happened to you. I understand this is very worrying, but I'm afraid that this is well outside the scope of this forum. You urgently need to speak to a specialist welfare advisor or look for legal help. I have attached the link to see if you can find specialist help in your area
