Appeal still waiting was created by marine85
Hi everyone I had my mobility part of my pip taken off me in August 2026 with a phone interview, I wasn't even downgraded to lower mobility I was really shocked at how they delt with my review because my medcal conditions have increased so totally shocked. Also my review took the DWP 15 months to reply what a joke, so I'm still waiting for appeal date.

Hi Marine85
I'm sorry that you lost your mobility, and you are having such a long wait for an appeal. Although the time varies slightly across the country, appeals are taking an average of 53 weeks.

Morning. I’m sorry you are going through this. Go through your paperwork and do all the Appeal preparation now.
Focus on issues not diagnoses.
As soon as the letter ‘does’ arrive you’ll be in bits, so do the work now. I would also recommend taking someone in with you for moral support.
Also.
Any questions they ask you is when you make your case. You do it with your responses.
Good luck.

This would be my second appeal now, my first appeal was so so stressful but I used the information from this website and I totally believe this helped, there's one thing I would like to point out is the DWP never apologise for wrong doing never and no one is from the DWP are brought to fault for their actions sorry for my RANT everyone.

Hi Marine85
What you have just said is not correct as in a case I am currently involved with the client received a written apology from the DWP and also a £200 payment as compensation for the stress caused by a DWP error. This was in addition to a five figure back payment relating to DWP official error.
