Discovering 16K+ capital/savings.... IOU DWP ?

I get why they would want that for review of ongoing claim , as i understand they are looking for depravation of capital and unusual income lump sums etc

however in this case its to close the claim and show not entitled as i've notified them in cic report.

i expect a repayment schedule . but can they force lump sum repayment ?

I spent a longtime at the JC today. Sat in silence while the agent faffed around to collate info on why i was there and establish who i am 'again ' . Agent made several trips to a colleague to get guidance. In the end bec of the repetitive questioning and slow data input, i asked her how long she had been working there ... 7 mths and still learning . Explains alot.

i raised the appointee comms issue with the agent. She was understanding. Reassured me that now my details are on the system and i will get notifications. On the way home she called me to ask the date of the bank stm i showed her and she transcribed info from .......!!!? Again !!!

i suggested she send me a test notification to confirm routing is fixed. this was at 12ish. Brother called at 5.30pm saying he got a message and called to ask me about it 😔. using a long work around .... i messaged on UCJ to say service failure is ongoing !

i'm not confident the agent collected the right info 😕. i am sure i will be called back.😕 Hopefully a case mgr can provide more clarity

she said something about his capital lump sum may be disregarded ? depending on when it was recvd

she asked about what each acct was used for too .

UCJ update - claim closed

no further UC payments will be made thankfully. I wont be able to use the journal to communicate with uc now.

nothing in the letter thry posted about repayment/ overpayment arrgmts
