Read up on ‘permitted work’.
I did this for 5 years whilst on ESA. You can ‘keep’ the money if you stay under their limits.
I did term time only too, but gave my hours as if over the year.

Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately there is no permitted work scheme in UC.
