There are two groups that successful ESA claimants are placed in, the Work Related Activity Group and the Support Group.

Only about 6% of ESA claimants end up in the Support Group, it recognises that you have a significant disability.

In practical terms you will receive an extra £5.45 and will not be required to participate in any Work Related Activity, as members of the WRAG have to.

Lastly, you are not exempt from re-assessment, so you should expect to receive another ESA50 at some time in the future. It might be helpful if you requested a copy of your latest medical report as this should, but doesn't always, show why you were placed in the SG.
