I just looked and it says under 60 and getting DLA which he is, he is on low rate.
I also read somewhere that to get EDP you have to be getting middle to high rate care, so still not clear on this.
I'm trying to find out exactly what he is entitled to as the ESA are slippery buggers and wont give you anything unless you point it out to them.
They are still holding back his payments from the appeal as they say he is in WRAG on tribuneral papers it says support group..
I'm not going to sit back and let them get away with it.
Its a constant battle all the time..
Did you happen to see Brian Liddles write up yesterday in the sun newspaper? classing everyone on the sick as scroungers? so annoying that the genuine sick are always having to fight their corner to get whats rightfully theirs.

Gordon,
I would tend to agree with your comment, of the DLA Care Award, having to be Middle or Higher Rate, as I get this top up premium from IS, due to such an award of the Care Component.(higher)
cheers

If your partner is definitely in the support group and receives means-tested benefits, he would also qualify for the enhanced disability premium.
