Advice needed please

I wonder if someone could give me advicee/their thoughts on something that is really niggling me.
I applied for DLA and was turned down. I went to the CAB and with their help decided to appeal the decision. The CAB said I had good medical evidence and had filled the form in really well (with this sites help thanks very much)
Out of the blue a letter arrived saying a doctor would visit me, he is coming next week EEEEKKKKK!
I went to the pain clinic yesterday. The consultant said he was going to refer me back to physio for assessment for the most appropriate walking aids (at the moment I dont use anything but hubby's arm)
He suggested elbow crutches would help me.
The niggle I have is will this be seen by the doctor/DWP as 'well she uses crutches so she can walk well enough' or will it be seen as confirming that I have major problems walking?
Hope this makes sense.
Thanks

Hi P*L,
That depends whether you have been advised and issued with any walking aids, at the time of your actual assessment.
As the doctor may well ask you, re your mobility issues.

P*L,
Have you looked at the "DLA Medicals" section in the "MEMBERS ONLY" orange area on the left?, this may help.

Thanks for all the comments/advice.
I did have a look on the DLA medicals bit and there is some information that helped me.
I think I'm just fretting about the DLA doctor coming to assess me.
I've seen the same doctors and specialists over the years who know me and my problems.
Having someone strange come into your home and possibly contradict other medical opinions is a bit scary.
However, on the other hand he may support everyhting that has been said.
Fingers crossed.
Thaks again
