In the FAQ: "TRANSFERRING FROM INCAPACITY BENEFIT TO ESA" guide it says that if you are on contributions only awards that you may not be not be transferred till 2014.

I am on IS and I was just told by IS that I am receiving contribution only awards for the IB side to my benefits not the IS side. I am not sure what that means but does that possibly mean that I will not be migrated till 2014?

Cheers

I'm not entirely sure what section you are referring to.

Claimants currently receiving IB will be transferred between now and 2014, most likely on their IB re-assessment date, but there has already been significant variation from this, so you cannot take this for granted.

Claimants receiving Income Support because of Incapacity will likely be transferred towards the end of the migration, however, I am aware of some who have already been transferred, so again this is variable.

Hope this explains it.

They make it up as they go along

My Incapacity review was due to be December, I heard nothing until IB to ESA transfer process started in July.
