I have my medical on the 27th. I have looked through the guides but also found 'Letter to take to the medical' which asks the helth care professional for a copy of the medical report before leaving the building. Would you advise I take a copy of the letter with me and hand it over? Also what if they refuse?
It is almost certain that they will refuse. The purpose of the letter is that should you be denied ESA and have to appeal, you can include a copy of the letter in the appeal papers and draw the tribunal's attention to the fact that you were denied a copy of the report.
We do not advise you to take it; it is entirely up to you whether you take the letter, if you do don't forget to change references to IB to ESA.
