Rachel,
Congratulations! Thanks for the encouraging words as well. I would like to ask two things of you.
I am waiting for a Tribunal date and am working on evidence in the meantime. When you said they gave you the full points, how many is that??
I was first awarded 6 points by Atos doc and then the Decision Maker "superseded" it to 18.
Also, do you know the latest you can wait to withdraw from the appeal process, if you cannot take it anymore?
Thank you and wonderful news!

You can withdraw an appeal, in writing, at any time prior to the hearing. However, if you make the withdrawal at the hearing, then the tribunal can, if it thinks it fair and just, refuse to allow the withdrawal to proceed.

Thank you Gordon,
I will try to hang in there, especially considering Rachel's good news, but I don't know how I will be feeling further on down the line.

Hi Rachel
Well done and thanks for sharing your advice.
It's not the first time an appellant has been let down by the CAB. I regret not making a complaint a few years ago when they sent a completely nonsensical submission to the tribunal without even giving me a chance to check it!
I would recommend that anyone who uses the CAB or any other welfare organization to handle an appeal, not to rely solely on your representative (unless you know you can trust them) and try to keep an eye on the deadlines, obtain evidence yourself and read all the correspondence carefully if at all possible.
Regards
Derek

Hope I am not being too nosey, but which benefit did you appeal, DLA or ESA ? If ESA was it from a no benefit result to WRAG or Support ? Just wondered as I am in a similar position of maybe appealing. Thanks.
