Right Payment Programme Update.

Hello all,

As a few may be aware I received a RPP form in March. Which I filled in and sent off. I then received a letter on the 12th July saying they received the form on the 23rd March and I required a medical on the same day I received a letter from ATOS saying I would be contacted soon regarding a home visit. A Doctor phoned the following day and a medical was arranged for the 17th. On Saturday I received a letter from DLA stating my award was being paid at the right amount and for the correct length of time, namely HRM, MRC for an indefinite period.

Just a few pointers the Doctor who visited on hindsight was sympathetic and friendly he listens and talked things through to me and my wife, at the time I was upset he made reference to the fact I drive very occasionally. However at the time he did say he wanted to phrase his report right as I obviously had extremely limited mobility but didn't want a conflict made reference the driving. He also added they (DLA) are devious so and so's.

He asked do I visit the supermarket, the corner shop to buy milk on my own, fill the car up with petrol or hoover? I notice apart from the supermarket the others aren't mentioned in the 70 questioned likely to be asked at a medical. He never or made any attempt to "check" other rooms in the house.

Hi Karlo congratulations on your result am so pleased for you. I know that it was an extremely stressfull time but hopefully you can relax and try to get on with life as best we can without the added stress of forms and medicals. Well done
