DLA Subject Access Request was created by ka
I have today received a notification from the Data Protection Officer from DWP that they have received my letter dated 17/12/2012 [sic] on 20/11/2012, and they will give me the information requested within 40 days. Is this 40 working days or 40 ordinary days?
Also, on the letter it says:
"You have asked for the following information:
Clerical and Computer records for:-
Disability Living Allowance"
In my letter I used the guide letter provided on this website and specifically asked for a statement of reasons and the GP medical report via a phone call. Will this information be provided from what they have said in the letter to me?

Hopefully, the standard letter should result in all documentation being produced, but as a general comment, documentation requested over the phone does not fall under the rules for a Subject Access Request.
