We do not deal with REA on the forum, but a quick search suggests that it is tied to your working a minimum of 10 hours a week, see

As Gordon states we are not qualified to answer queries on Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit.
However, I have some experience in this area, so briefly Reduced Earnings Allowance is paid to those of working age who have had an industrial accident or contracted a work-related disease.
However, once an REA recipient reaches state retirement age they are transferred from Reduced Earnings Allowance to Retirement Allowance which is only 25% of their REA.
However, Retirement Allowance is paid in addition to your State Pension for life.
